I’m a senior software engineer living in Auckland, New Zealand. I’ve a wide range of experience with a focus in recent years around backend application-server engineering and cloud / dev-ops. I am familiar with a number of languages as well as database and messaging systems; Java, Go, Python, Postgres etc… I’m also good at working with people to understand needs, presenting, training, diagramming and documenting.

The little character in the image top left is my Gravatar icon that I use as an anonymous identifier across systems. This is useful in an open-source setting to easily identify me whilst retaining privacy.
